Root-Pike WIN and the City of Kenosha invite you and your family to our BIGGEST planting event to date! On Saturday, June 7th, we are hosting the community for a native planting event to kick off restoration efforts in Washington Park. Participants can join anytime between 11 am and 6 pm to help us replace ~14,000 square feet of turf grass with native plants that better support pollinators and improve water quality to Pike Creek. Attendees will plant, enjoy free food from the Olano's Empanadas food truck, take home a free plant, mingle with local community groups, and have the option to submit a survey for a chance to win 1 of 10 gift baskets valued at $300 each!
