Become a water monitor! Train with highly skilled educators to learn how to collect and submit data that will be used for real-world, local restoration projects. Responsibilities include:
Attending mandatory training on May 17th from 12:30 – 4 pm
Recommended completion of a 1-2 hr online course before in-person training (found in registration form).
Determining a partner (either someone at training, someone you will bring to training, or someone you will bring to each monitoring event)
Choosing a location site with Root-Pike WIN
1-2 hours of monitoring in the field once a month for 6 months (6 sampling events)
Creating a login and submitting data to an online database utilized by Root-Pike WIN, the WIDNR, and the EPA for restoration planning.
