Put your invasive species identification skills into practice with our first Stewardship Session that will take place at the restoration area within Neumiller woods! Here, we will spend time identifying and removing invasives that negatively impact Wisconsin’s native plant and animal species. Co-hosted by Louie’s Lures, our work will serve to protect vital fish habitat, as we work alongside a tributary considered headwaters for salmon and baiter fish.

This is an excellent training event for those interested in habitat restoration that aids in the protection of native species including fish and pollinators!

Tools, herbicides, and garbage bags will be provided. Please bring gloves, water, bug spray, and dress for the weather in clothing and shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

No prerequisites required - Ages 18 and up

Rain Date is Sunday, October 24th from 1 - 3:30 pm
