Have you ever wondered what plant you’re seeing? Plants offer clues to their identity if you know what to look for! During Botany 101, you will learn essential botany terms and characteristics that lead to the correct identification of a variety of plant species. You will also gain an understanding of the differences between native, nonnative, invasive, and noxious plants and the reasons behind planting some and removing others. We will then head into the field to practice our plant identification skills!

No prerequisites required - Ages 16 and up - Minors must be accompanied by an adult
