Recreation and Aquatic Habitat
Projects improve public access for passive recreation (boating, fishing, swimming and wildlife viewing) or monitor, document or improve habitat in rivers, creeks, lakes, and other public waterways.

Project examples: Increasing or improving public access to recreation (boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, and swimming), or improving fishing habitat or water quality.

Projects Funded:

• Lake Michigan Storm Sewer District, Study of the Klema Ditch to reduce volume and flow of water to reduce erosion.
